This qualification is intended for those who wish to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of working with children up to 7 years. It prepares learners to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to plan and deliver quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The diploma covers key topics such as child development, safeguarding, supporting play, health and well-being, communication, and partnership working. Learners will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience through placements in early years settings. Upon successful completion, individuals are qualified to work as early years practitioners or progress into teaching, social work, or further study in childhood education.
